How to get a 'Permitted Worker Permit' for Melbourne and Victoria

With restrictions set to increase in Victoria at 11:59pm 5 August 2020, it is imperative that all essential workers, including truck drivers, print and carry a signed copy of the permitted workers permit. The wearing of face coverings is now also mandatory.

Other tips:

  • Carry documentation that helps prove you are carrying out work. For example a letter from your employer or a copy of your TruckIt booking confirmation email and invoice.
  • Sanitise you hands before and after pickups and deliveries
  • Provide contact free delivery where possible
